At this point, I treat every career like its own separate timeline. Cause I can't rationalize training an uma like Inari One, and racing against an uma like Kitasan Black. The sexualizing, imo, comes in with the way some characters are written. Those that play the games are made to be like the closest thing to these umas while training them. Keeping a professional veil on while a lot of them are written to be hinting at romance with very few denying it outright. To solve this, Cygames could have easily made this like a university setting and kept the whole school theme and made the girls range from young adult ages. Idk what the infatuation is with high school, its not like the uniforms are good designs. It's simply to cater to certain people enjoy.
