My kids’ dad is disabled and doesn’t work outside the home. I work 7 16 hour night shift in a row every other week. Despite repeatedly explaining that to the school, they’ll still only call me. I wish their school would do like the commenter!

my mom is one of the first women in her area who owns her own landscape contracting business. she built it from the ground up all by herself after a horrible divorce. now she’s super well known by other landscapers in the town for how good her work is and how well she treats her employees. last time i visited her we made a birthday cake for one of her guys, it was the first time he’d ever had one 🥺. i love my mom, im so proud of her

We are not married and have two kids. The kids have my surname. The school now refer to him as Mr *my name*. He just accepts it now 😂 but I do wonder if they would assume the same if the kids had his name.

I once said “you have to use your LOOKING eyes!” to a male coworker like he was a toddler when he couldn’t find something directly in front of him. He was not impressed. I still think it’s some of my best work.

Love this! I didn’t change my last name when I got married. When we got married I had them change the announcement as a married couple at our reception from “Mr. & Mrs. XXX” to “Dr.XXX & Mr. XXX” and anytime we send out mail it’s posted and signed as “Dr. XXX & Mr. XXX” 🫰🫰🫰
