so this is one of things where they CAN do it but here's a few issues with it One they cannot call her Pamela Voorhees two because she's not a huge part of his in game lore it would make little sense this jason seems to be more 2009 where hes not DIRECTLY influenced by his deceased mother. So from a legal standpoint they CAN do this it just wouldn't make much sense in the context of the game.
