They make you feel bad and guilty for being unwell & they don’t understand we need to feel healthier in order to do our job. We are humans too.. They make you feel like you’re going to lose your job. Instead, employers should provide proper mental health support, carry out supportive welfare checks, respect medical advice, offer reasonable adjustments, clearly explain available support and sick pay, and create an environment where employees feel safe discussing their health without fear, pressure, or stigma.

If you get ill more than 2 times in a year we get a disciplinary. So you go to work regardless of how sick you are

I got pulled aside for misconduct in my work place for one tiny mistake which really was not my fault and I got through the meeting and they let me off with a Hugh list of things I had to improve and sick days was one of them ? now I feel bad for taking a sick day. but recently with the heat wave we had I had burn out and was physically exhusted yet I felt bad if I was to call in sick ? people have power once they do they take over you as well. yet they are human and do the same things lol 😆 😂

The problem calling sick yes give you that break and give your mental health a rest but then your start to worry about the money side of things how are you going pay the rent and all the other stuff

We have 3 stages of sickness, each stage comes with an x amount of monitoring- after stage 3 it’s disciplinary or redeployment
