Fun fact; So, in the movie, the backrooms creates entities based on the people who have been in the backrooms. Up until the table scene, Clark blamed everyone but himself for the issues in his life. And because of this, the backrooms created Clarks entity to see everyone but Clark as the enemy, causing Clarks entity to attack everyone but Clark. It was not until after the table scene, when the therapist confronted Clark, telling him that he was the cause of his own issues, that Clark realised that he was the cause of his own issues. And because of this realisation, his entity now saw everyone, including Clark as the enemy, which is why it attacked Clark during this scene and not before

When he was talking about how he feels he belongs in the Backrooms it really struck a cord with me. I’ve always been fascinated with disappearing like that where no one could find me, made his character way more complex as I saw myself in him at that moment. That’s just me though

He made me feel so depressed bru, his acting was PHENOMENAL. Not a lot of characters make me uncomfortable like his. He's just a random guy that was looking to better himself by going to therapy, but he never allowed himself to be corrected. His own failure was unbearable so he just decided to blame it on others.

My favorite detail of the movie is that Clark says the still lives can’t feel pain, but captain Clark obviously does later, which means that the still lives made from Clark’s memories and how he thinks of other people are emotionless zombies that can’t feel anything while the manifestation of how he thinks of himself is the only one that can actually feel things, it really just proves how self centered he was

Clark knew exactly what he was, but he couldn't change. maybe in time, but he was self destructive. he wasn't perfect, but he didnt deserve what happened, he went insane because of his actions and because he found comfort in a terrible thing. what a great character
