Idk, I’ve been getting gel/acrylic nails since high school. Then last summer I decided to play piano, removed gel nails, and I don’t think I’m ever going back. I mean, I still use polish, but I just love how natural my nails look haha! All gel/acrylic nails seem bulky to me now😅 But I definitely wouldn’t say one or another type is a status symbol, that is weird😁

I love long colourful nails but its faster to see that its time for new set. With short pink nails i can keep them at least week longer without them looking bad. 😅
