I have episodes where food gets stuck it won't go up or down. camera says just inflammation. diet change is needed I have a hiatus hernia too. I sleep with pillow under mattress and on the left side. I can't eat big meals anymore. gaviscon advance is what I use. I have a histamine reaction each time I eat too .

So do you have this because of the hiatal hernia? That’s the root cause? I have the same lpr and gerd but I don’t know what’s causing mine, I did have an endoscopy but no hiatal hernia etc but ent said acid reflux when looking at my throat but that’s all I know so far

I have extreme sinusitis, throat clearing, coughing, and itchy throat and ears, and the absolute terrible symptom is breathlessness and the anxiety it causes, a viscious cycle. It's awful, and exactly like you said I'd rather give up all kinds of food than to feel this pain. I'm still trying to get things under control. It's getting better but as you said it takes time. I also take Gaviscon and Famotidine.

So what exactly have u done? diet? tbh i feel like diets did not worked for me, but I tried it for like 6-7 months. So I have no idea, but there is always something going on with my throat. Have u got any advice? Sadly this has been going on for like 1+ year now.
