you def used wifi to install the update. if you had any interruptions of the connection during the installation, this def caused that. However, I think this is truly to samsung, they have to think that not everybody has the flawless connection and that they have to allow the device to store server info like any pc can during installation of any online apps. If that's not the case, then its entirely onto your device
