11 years is a long time. In that time, I’ve experienced things I never would have otherwise, built memories that will last a lifetime and grown in ways I never imagined. But I’ve also missed birthdays, milestones, ordinary moments, and precious time with the people I love the most. While I’m grateful for everything those years gave me, there’s a part of me that will always feel the weight of what they took. Some things can be replaced, but time never can.
