@kirbystarplanet: I love Asian ppl, I love ALL poc but we can’t have true solidarity until we fix our prejudices towards one another and tbh yall have WAYY more prejudice towards us than we do towards yall. Yall should really do sum about that and I’m DEADASS. It’s not right. 🫤 #BlackTikTok #asian #racism #viral #fyp

this is exactly why we black people need solidarity across the diaspora . how unfortunate we are hated by other poc for things we can't control and are barley responsible for .

as an asian person hearing about this is so diagusting and disturbing in a world led so easily by our opressors and people dehumanizing us instead of loving and caring for each other people choose to hold such deep hatred and vitriol for fellow victims. every time i hear something like this i feel sick

I feel like the hardest part that I just had to accept about reality is the fact that nobody truly wants equality especially when it means being equal to someone who’s black nd it genuinely hurts

I hate how alot of people are ignorant and insensitive when it comes to accepting differences with people in different ethnicities and races and treating them as equal. I wish we were all as careful w one another as we are with our loved ones.

I'm asian but not from the 'famous asian countries'. By my observation, it's really the western movies/shows that put on a huge impact on how others perceive things especially American ones. Many of the American shows/movies shows black people as violent/aggressive/gangsterism back then especially and it stuck with people outside of the west. It's the same as westerners seeing other types of poc as a steorotyped version of themselves. Indians as dirty, Arabs as t*rorrist. It's really the media. That's why I'm definitely against any media that put on a steorotyped version of any poc because it really does a LOT of harm. Fortunately now we have Tiktok and social media to educate, but back then, it really is like this

Maybe it isn’t my topic to speak on but as a Chinese American division, colorism, racism, anti-blackness are engrained deeply in us via culture and parental teaching. Heck it’s even reflected in everything down to the modern Asian beauty standard, ultimately POC unity unfortunately is a myth. The usage of Asian Americans as a “model minority” being weaponized against other minorities in the US combined with conservative media being channeled toward immigrant parents certainly doesn’t help either.

as asian in our community hate against Black people is getting bigger day by day and i really don’t know reason at all. We never fought war against each other, we’re same minorities in USA, most of time Black people are the ones who really respectful towards our culture and traditions. Superior complex in east asia huge promise ngl and as Mongolian which is part of east Asia i really got shamed by saying i’m east asian sometimes(that japanese tweet, Kpop idols behavior, chinese dolls and that charity workers, and mongolian trolls).

Why do you say it like the black jamaicans did anything wrong? the chinese have been going to parts of africa and the caribbean and essentially colonising parts and banning locals. Please be on the right side dear. Standing for nothing in the name of peace is a fools game

As a ex kpop fan I never noticed how much kpop was a culture vulture. I’m not black but growing up with 90s parents especially Tupac, Beyoncé and many black artists in general made me realise after maturing how disgusting kpop really is. I was so young and being a brown person (who’s not black) never realised how racist and colourist they were. They steal black peoples dances, beats, fashion and put it as “Korean Pop” when in reality they been copying NSYNC, One Direction, Fifth Harmony, the pussy cat dolls like bruhhh there’s no originality. Kpop fans try so hard to dismiss black peoples feelings and say Kpop is just better like no hunny they literally take inspiration and music FROM AMERICAN ARTISTS and hide it very well. I hope black people tho can understand when you put your culture or aesthetics online for billions to see it that there’s no way for you to preserve it. Many other races are gonna take inspiration or ideas from it and if you profit over it then you can’t blame others for using it.
