This is not just friction hyperpigmentation. it is known as acanthosis nigricane which is cause by insulin resistance ( that’s the main underlying cause) until that is fixed these serum wont do much. Maybe contribute it to be a little lighter but not completely reverse it for that you need chemical peels and have to fix insulin resistance ( these are usually found in people with diabetes and pcos)
