In many Hispanic families, however, it’s completely normal for adult children to continue living with their parents well into adulthood. In some cases, you’ll even find three generations living under the same roof. It’s not necessarily a sign of dependence; it’s simply a different family dynamic that places a stronger emphasis on close family ties, mutual support, and multigenerational living.

I’m 46 and I live with my mom. My dad died 3 years ago and she’s all alone. She asked me to move in, so I rent out my place and I live with her so I can take care of her. Works out great, she’s my best friend. Plus I get to put all the rent money into my retirement fund
