His story wasn’t written in easy mode. Growing up, Dale knew what it meant to fight for respect when nobody was handing it out. Broke nights, doubted dreams, and enough Ls to make most people quit. He took losses in life before he ever took them in game. The world labeled him low tier before he even picked up a controller. But the ROG Kingdom doesn’t crown you for having it easy. It crowns the ones who refuse to stay down. Through every rage clip, every setback, every person saying he’d never make it, he kept pressing start. He turned salt into fuel. Turned disrespect into motivation. Stream after stream, tournament after tournament, he built his name in the lab when nobody was watching. The ROG Kingdom was a battlefield of egos and skill, and Dale walked through it scarred but unbroken. He wasn’t handed the crown. He earned it with calloused hands and a mindset that wouldn’t fold. Now he sits as the King of ROGs. Not because he’s perfect, but because he’s proof. Proof that your tier isn’t decided by where you start. It’s decided by how many times you get back up after getting knocked down. LowTierGod isn’t just a name. It’s a reminder. The bottom is only the bottom if you stay there. Dale Wilson clawed his way out, became Dalauan Sparrow, and built a kingdom from the dirt they said he belonged in. To anyone watching this edit: If they call you low tier today, good. ![Reposted @lordrarerock SIX STRING WIZARD - Stevie Ray Vaughan performs “Lenny” live at the El Mocambo (1983). Stevie had the hands of Michelangelo and the heart of a Texas angel. The emotion pours out here for his first wife, Lenny. The night before this legendary gig, SRV received a wicked shock, so his crew had to go to the hardware store, buy 6 feet of rubber pipe insulator and cover his mic stand so his guitar strings couldn’t possibly touch the metal. If you watch the full peformamce it’s the reason the stand looks abnormally large. Lenny and Stevie were married in between sets at the Rome Inn on Dec. 23, 1979. Their marriage was a rocky and tumultuous one. They fought a lot.. fought hard to drive each other away, and fought hard to hang onto each other. She was the true love of his life and he always loved her, even after the divorce. He knew he didn't give her an easy life with him and once he got clean and sober he realized that her leaving was really the only choice she had. They didn't have any children together and divorced sometime in 1988 at the urging of his then-girlfriend Janna Lapidus whom he met in New Zealand. She was a photographer/model/aspiring actress who appeared briefly in Weekend At Bernie's. Stevie proposed to Janna at some point in late 1989 I believe and the rest we all know.
