build your own website and do promotions on social media. once you get big margins start promoting at public events, put ads in mrt/halte tj/krl and lrt stations, and gradually run ads in airports and interprovincial stations like gambir and halim. that’s what my friends are doing for their business, ’cause these days major brands are moving from this app to build their own websites to avoid unnecessary extra costs

build own website pls, use Shopify. increase price on shopee 50%, but let ur audience know that they can get ur product cheaper in ur website. announce this in ur Tiktok and IG

As a buyer, I’ve definitely noticed that items that used to be affordable are getting more expensive. Sellers are raising prices to make up for all the fees, which is understandable. I actually prefer buying directly from websites or ordering manually these days. As a seller myself, I know exactly how frustrating those deductions can be🫨😮💨😮💨

Hahaha, TikTok does that too :) I sell my product for IDR 199k, but after all the fees, shipping, and taxes, I only get around IDR 99k. Sometimes it feels like half of the revenue disappears before it even reaches the seller 😂.

Therefore, it's best to continue selling on Shopee by raising prices, as most Indonesian consumers prefer paying through the marketplace rather than directly with sellers, even if the price is lower. Unless they are already loyal customers, they will likely order directly from sellers.
