@sandisongwenya_: This is the newly launched ICAUR V23. Pretty bold, isn't it? The customisation on this thing is next level. Wrap the body, wrap the windows, wrap the wheels — you can essentially design the car yourself. Add a retro kit, throw on an off-road kit, mix and match however you want. There really aren't many limits. ICAUR really is not about blending in. And it's not just about looks. You're getting leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a 15.4-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, a 7-speaker sound system, and up to 430 km of range on the AWD — all standard. Two derivatives available in South Africa right now: 2WD — R519,900 AWD — R669,900 Backed by an 8-year/200,000 km vehicle warranty, 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty, and a 5-year/100,000 km service plan. That's a serious ownership package. #KeepItSoft #NewCar #cartok #carreview #suv

R669 900 is 150,000 Rand more for the all-wheel drive it is absolutely ridiculous nowhere in the world is a price gap of that difference between the two models! Chery South Africa are really taking advantage of the South African buyer.. they saw the interest was very good and the pre-orders were great and they screwed us on price

Comparative Pricing Analysis: iCaur V23 (China vs South Africa) A comparison of the iCaur V23's pricing in China and South Africa demonstrates a significant increase in the South African retail market across both the two-wheel-drive (2WD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants. The entry-level 2WD variant is estimated to retail in China for approximately R290,000 to R360,000, while the South African retail price is R519,900. This represents a price increase of between R160,000 and R230,000, equating to an approximate markup of 45% to 80% over Chinese pricing. The AWD variant is estimated to retail in China for approximately R350,000 to R430,000, compared to the South African retail price of R669,900. This results in a price difference of approximately R240,000 to R320,000, representing an increase of approximately 56% to 92% above the estimated Chinese market price.
