The must disturbing thing about this is that, according to one of the writers said in the Joe Rogan podcast that, originally, the cult asks for the doctor's daughter in order to forgive his intrusion, otherwise they'll make his life a living hell. That is why at the end the little girl looks like it's going away with two men. Not sure if it's true tho.
