The rubber had deteriorated so much that it had turned yellow and was crumbling, making it look white. I applied Premium Shoe Cream to the leather in small amounts, working it in until I could feel the sheen emerge. The condition is excellent. I placed a desiccant inside before wrapping. This time, I chose standard film; I’ll wrap it neatly to preserve its current condition. Applying heat with a hair dryer causes the film to shrink—it’s finished.
