Jaiyepet&autos :
We youths are often called unserious, but the truth is that many of us are hardworking and determined. The problem is that we are operating in a system that makes progress much harder than it should be.
Many politicians have failed to provide the kind of leadership that would help the country move forward. Yet, many people are afraid to speak up because of intimidation and fear of consequences.
Personally, I am not hungry or suffering, but I can clearly see the difference between working hard in a functioning economy and working hard in the current situation. I built my first house within three months using only my business profits. Today, my second house has been under construction for three years, even though I am putting in the same effort. The difference is that the cost of everything has increased while profits have reduced.
Most of us are not lazy. We have the skills, the knowledge, and the determination to succeed. We want to create jobs, support our families, and contribute to society. But the environment is making it increasingly difficult.
The day Nigerian youths realize the power of their collective voice and demand accountability from their leaders through lawful and peaceful means is the day real change can begin. Future generations should know that we tried our best. We spoke up, we worked hard, and we refused to accept poor leadership as normal.
People like VDM are using their platforms to raise awareness. Whether one agrees with him or not, the bigger message is that citizens should remain engaged, informed, and willing to demand better governance. If more people participate constructively and stand for positive change, future generations may enjoy a better Nigeria than the one we have today.
