Kinda dumb but hear me out what if Magnus communicated his message about Horus to his second in command and then his sc relayed it to a weaker psyker then that psyker sent to a ship heading for Terra the message to their warp navigator.

What sucks is that during the second book I believe. Magnus uses some sort of Chaos magic to save Horus from Erebus. He could've been a loyalist to fight against his brother. But he decided use strongee Chaos magic to warn his father. But ultimately, opened the webway on terra.
