Not sure why people post these videos as if living in Japan means you'll still be making money based on the U.S. Dollar and U.S. economy. If you are working for a Japanese company, the ¥ value is not the same as the USD value. So, unless you're still being paid in USD, this does not translate realistically to what it's like living in Japan.

(I can explain more if you want to. I’m not the best at wording stuff ) For some of you, they’re saying oh I wanna move there well one the reason why things are so cheap is because people in Japan do not make that much because a good part of their paycheck gets taken out of taxes and those taxes pay for their healthcare school stuff like that it’s called free but it really isn’t free. The only reason why some Americans make it look so good is probably because they probably still have a job that they work remotely from the US so to them it is still cheap because they still make a good amount of money because they’re working for an American company
