I used to tell myself I would never take out a student loan. Then I realized if people can take loans for cars , why not invest in a better future? When I start LPN school in January my plan is to pay some out of pocket and use student loans for the rest. Sometimes you have to invest in yourself to get where you want to be.

I'd rather be an RN getting paid $100 an hour at a hospital in my 30s with student loans than be a minimum wage earner with zero student loans.

Where are you located ..my school and work -school program ,you work for them for 2 days / week as a cna for lpn program .There are cna doing lpn for free (benefit from union )

If you’re working at a hospital they may have Tuition Reimbursement program or Tuition Assistance I’ll try that first
