As a retired Homicide prosecutor of 36 years, I can’t understand the failure of the prosecutor to review this evidence sooner. It’s offensive to me. There was never sufficient evidence to issue the arrest warrant.

in 2004 I was held with a NO bond on 3 1st degree murder charges saying the state(Illinois) had met the burden for NO bond. Was not a risk tho in any way. Then went to trial in 119 days or so. Found NOT Guilty Bench trial. Direct Finding. Same Judge. Make that make since?
