@ghbrain_: UPDATE; The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is currently undertaking transformer replacement and upgrade works at the Batsonaa Substation under the Government’s Transformer Replacement and Upgrade Programme. The project, which aims to improve power supply reliability and reduce system overloads, involves replacing the existing 20/26 MVA transformer with a higher-capacity 30/39 MVA transformer. The Batsonaa upgrade follows the successful completion of similar projects at Adenta, Nmai Dzorm, Lashibi, Teshie-Nungua, and Kumasi Ridge substations as part of ECG’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the national power distribution network.
