Y’all hearing them though? That’s why martial arts is more than just physical… It’s the mental discipline that it requires. The ambition to learn more, being humbled at the fact that art is the beholder. You can call yourself the best, but who’s really to say…

I get why its important to learn multiple spots and styles of fighting and try different ones BUT its hard to do so because you spent years learning how to punch and kick and everything a certain way then they want to rewrite how you punch, kick, step, form, everything. so how do you learn other stuff without rewriting the way you fight already? like his undetected punches they would try to rewrite that style and do more obvious but he spent years learning that style. I feel like everytime I go to a gym they want to change my fighting style completely to what they do and then its blurry between your style and theres and you make mistakes on certain styles and get sloppy. if anyone knows how to answer that I would appreciate it so much.
