Equine Massage Therapist here, PLEASE use a western saddle pad with a western saddle (no hate!!!!) but it'll make riding smoother, your horses back and muscles in better condition and give the saddle the proper support it needs again NO HATE!!!!!

I truly don’t want this to sound rude but I’ve been riding western for ten years now and I recommend you get a little bit of a bigger saddle bc your legs shouldn’t be touching the horn. Also if the way you did your cinch is too loose I recommend a Texas T but then again I’ve never tied up my cinch like that so I wouldn’t know. I’m sorry if this sounded rude! I didn’t mean any hate I promise!
