So I’ve been working for a Toyota dealership for the past year and it’s been a good job. Small town, decent business, good prices. It was awesome, well we got new owners and everything changed. We’re watched under a microscope, every little thing we do. Nothing sells anymore cause they jacked our prices up sky high and we’re overstaffed asf. Also the shop is 40 minutes from my house. I’ve got the opportunity to come work for a a big Chrysler dealer only 10 minutes from my house at the same pay. I’m not a super genius master mechanic. But I do good work and I can do it relatively quick. Should I take this opportunity or stick it out with the new owners for longer? it’s been about 6 months with them.

most days I'm the crack head tech..just haul ass and get shit done. but im hourly. would never work flat rate, worst pay system outside of agriculture pay. if I'm in the shop I'm making money period.
