I wish people would look more into layering and ink opacities (and general creativity with subject matter and texture ) and not just jump immediately to adding dark colors to cover-ups

My dad has a lot of tattoo coverups. Lots of colorful and beautiful pieces. You can barely see the old tattoo (you would have to know what it was before)
