It’s great that they’re reporting that however please do your research if you’re gonna let somebody do something this drastic to you anything you should be seeking qualified doctors and nurses.

They need regulation. Yet the focus is only on licensing

This is clearly injustice. The government should be more attentive to regulate those type of business to protect the public. However, clients should be aware and educated by doing their own research to weigh benefits and risks within best practice and evidence based. Probably, the media should support education rather than discussing those topics.

I’ve been receiving a lot of messages asking what happened, so I think I’m ready to share now. A few weeks ago, I had a migraine at work. I took paracetamol, it settled, and I continued with my clinical shift. While driving home, just minutes away, everything suddenly changed. Out of nowhere, my left side became completely floppy and paralysed and heart was racing as if it will come out. I couldn’t move it at all. I called my husband, and he told me to stop the car and put my hazards on. He tracked my location through the car app and rushed to me. Because I was on a dual carriageway and terrified an accident might happen, I also called 999. Then everything is blur 💔 I was blue lighted to the hospital emergency, In that moment, I genuinely thought I was going to die. I was so scared and thought I’m having a cardiac arrest. All I could think of were my daughters. I remember telling the person on the phone that I loved my family and reciting the Kalima, believing these might be my last moments. At the hospital, they initially suspected a stroke, but Alhamdulillah all imaging came back clear. I was diagnosed with a hemiplegic migraine, which can closely mimic a stroke, causing paralysis and loss of speech. During this time, another neurological condition was also triggered, making recovery even more challenging. I couldn’t speak at all, couldn’t move, and couldn’t eat normally, surviving on pureed food for days and being completely dependent. This experience showed me the true meaning of support. My husband stood by me like a rock, and friends cancelled plans, showed up, and helped me through some of the hardest days of my life. Recovery hasn’t been easy. I still have speech delays and I can’t move independently yet, but I am better than before. I’m trying to hold onto gratitude, reminding myself that Allah has wisdom in everything and that I was protected that day ❤️‍🩹 I’ll be sharing my journey here as I continue to heal. Please keep me in your thoughts and remember me in your special prayers 🤍 #fyp #foryoupagе
