@offenceregister: DAVID WRIGHT CHESTERFIELD PAEDOPHILE CHILD SEX TEACHER In 2019, David Wright of Chesterfield, a former teacher, was jailed after police discovered a library of over 8,000 indecent images of children on his computer. The investigation revealed that the digital predator systematically accumulated a vast collection of illicit material via the dark web, including 3,864 Category A files. He targeted images depicting vulnerable children between the ages of five and twelve, while actively utilising online channels to research child sex tourism destinations in Madagascar and Cambodia. Owen attempted to minimise his actions by claiming he lacked a passport and lived in isolation, but forensic teams proved his persistent digital tracking. Public protection units halted his behaviour after a targeted raid on his home on Connelly Court exposed his extensive database, completely violating his historical position of trust as an educator. The Offender Database UK confirmed that David Wright was convicted at Derby Crown Court: Possession of Category A indecent images of children (3,864 images and 340 movies). Possession of Category B indecent images of children (2,894 images). Possession of Category C indecent images of children (2,226 images). David Wright is also subject to: An immediate 9-month custodial sentence at a UK correctional facility. Mandatory 10-year placement on the Sex Offenders Register. Strict multi-agency MAPPA monitoring and digital hardware inspection tracking. Is this justice? Share your comment below. Should former teachers found with thousands of child abuse images face tougher mandatory sentences? First of all, I am aware that Myanmar and Thailand share similar culture and history due to their neighboring nature. However, wearing BURMESE traditional clothes and presenting them as Thai without proper credit is disrespectful. Lanna was ruled by the Burmese from 1558 until 1774. But, the Burmese clothes being used belong to the Yadanabon Era (1859–1885), which means that the Myanmar has not ruled the Lanna for 2 centuries already. It is hard to say that this problem is caused by the cultural similarities between the Shan ethnic group of Myanmar and Thai culture. Indeed, the presented attire belongs to the Burmese traditional clothes while Myanmar's cultural heritage is ignored. Lastly, we, the Burmese people, request to be given proper credit for our traditional clothes and our concerns to stop being overlooked. Our country might not be as popular and internationally recognized as others but it does not mean that our culture or heritage should be disrespected. The Burmese fans are also part of your fandom. We have supported you throughout your career, despite the fact that you have become internationally recognized. We have the same rights to be heard and our cultural heritage to be respected. Also, I believe Thailand itself has a very rich cultural background, it will be much better to do some research on Thai traditional dress and then represent it instead of Burmese clothes without recognizing the culture of Myanmar Culture similarities should make our countries closer rather than an excuse for ignoring or erasing the culture of another country We do not ask for anything that is out of ordinary. We simply ask for recognition and respect of our culture. Thank you. #scarletheartthailand #gmmtv #BURMESE #myanmar
