I think they messed up with the adventures. I think it would’ve been better if they made the different adventures but all of them were slightly wrong. Like npcs forgetting things, or weird plot holes. I liked episode 2 for that kind of, like when they glitched out of the map.

It like lost the psychological horror part of it, like episode 2 with gummigoo was such a cool episode. An npc realizing they arent real, their siblings arent real, they dont know what their own mother looks like. Like that was so cool, and then its like jax just having panic attacks. Its weird the fall off, coz the first half is so solid then it feels weirdly rushed. So much of it reverses the show dont tell philosophy just to fit jax as a center in the narrative

Biggest issue with digital circus is the show genuinely had no direction. The pilot was ass for establishing what would happen and the plot was just a Jax circle jerk after episode 3. That’s why the show makes no sense
