I hate that people don’t get playing for fun over playing to win. If everyone ran so much interaction that every good thing that landed on the board got wiped then what’s the point in even playing?

Yeah this is a bad take. I have a buddy that says the same thing, but all of his decks are combo decks, and if yoy interact with his board he says he is being ganged up on and he will get pissy the rest of the night.

for all the people complaining about not wanting to use interaction, or dont want to buy expensive cards: if you’re playing in bracket 4, accept the power level at the table without exception because if you complain, you ARE wrong. 4 and 5 are the highest levels of play, so if you won’t proxy and you won’t buy expensive cards, you won’t do well in the expensive format. that’s just a given. you’re playing against people who have no restrictions on their deck and who may or may not be buying expensive cards for their deck and/or proxies.

I played with a guy who plays a lot of counter spells and I finally realized. I am the problem, because now when he doesn’t have an answer to something on the table and I haven’t done anything to help myself or the board I have 0 political engagement and so no one cares if I am doing bad bc they don’t want me to do good. Playing interaction has been so much better for my gameplay
