You may or may not be required to wear a gown depending on treatment. Speak to your provider if you suffer from claustrophobia …. They will help you. MRI machine is loud, earplugs are provided and help massively to deafen the noise a little. You are given an Alarm Bell to hold whilst in there In case you need to speak to someone. Nurses will see your images live as the scan is taking place. Blood vessels connecting to the brain, cranial nerves, surround soft tissue and the skull base structure. Time in there varies from 30 minutes to 2 hours. (2 hours isn’t a fun let me tell you) The music funnily enough is a fair reflection of what it’s exactly like in one of those tubes. #MRI #cancer #braincancer #braincancerawareness #braintumorawareness
