Personally, i don’t think that parents imposing a curfew on their 20+ y/o kids has anything to do with you respecting their boundaries and much more to do with them wanting control over yours. It’s not their place to put boundaries on your freedom.

Honestly once you hit 20 is the time to start pushing your parents boundaries. They are really strict because you allow them to be strict. Work on getting over that fear and realize you are an adult. Parents who try and shelter their kids as adults don’t allow them to learn how to be a proper adult. It’s very important to embrace your freedom so you can learn about your own self and your own capabilities
