Quadrillion scientific errors in Christian Bible 🌱 The Qur’anic Description of Germination vs. the Gospel Description — A Scientific Comparison The New Testament presents seed growth through the idea that the seed must first die in order to produce life: 📖 In Gospel of John (12:24): “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies…” 📖 And in First Epistle to the Corinthians (15:36): “What you sow is not brought to life unless it dies.” 🔬 The Scientific Error in the Gospel Scientifically, a seed does not die in order to germinate — it must remain alive. If the embryo inside the seed dies, germination becomes impossible. Modern botany explains that germination begins through a process called: Imbibition A scientific reference states: “The uptake of water by seeds is called imbibition, which leads to the swelling and the breaking of the seed coat.” “Water absorption by seeds is called imbibition, leading to swelling and the breaking of the seed coat.” 📚 Source: Germination – Wikipedia (Seed Imbibition) In other words, the actual biological process is: Water absorption → swelling → splitting of the seed coat → emergence of life Here the superiority of the Qur’anic description becomes clear. The Qur’an does not present death as the condition for germination; instead, it describes the real mechanism through two complementary statements: 📖 “Indeed, Allah is the Splitter of the grain and the seed…” (Qur’an 6:95) This describes the central physical event of germination: the splitting of the seed coat. Then the Qur’an continues: 📖 “He brings the living out of the dead…” (Qur’an 6:95) Describing the emergence of dormant life from what appears externally inactive or lifeless. 📌 The comparison is clear: 🔴 Gospel description: Death → life 🟢 Qur’anic description: Splitting of the seed + emergence of life In other words, the Qur’an describes the actual physical and biological mechanism of germination, making its wording closer to modern botanical science and more scientifically precise than the Gospel formulation.
