My MCP functions through the Claude App call the CLI "Pete", Pete is a cool guy who figures stuff out. They work in unison, and pass functions between who have the greater strengths for the task at hand.

mcp consumes 2 or 3 times more tokens than cli you can just ask your agent like claude code or codex and as user you wont see the difference
