I think it depends on your priorities. TBH, I wish Americans had more balance in their lives. I am for capitalism, but not at the expense of family time and friendships. If you can balance the two, you've hit the jackpot. Not everyone cares if they're rich or what everyone else seems successful, it doesn't mean they're life isn't fulfilling to them.
