I would like to share an idea that could greatly improve the competitive experience and help players practice for tournaments more effectively. Concept: Storm Surge Practice Battle Royale (Ranked-Gated Mode) A special Battle Royale mode designed to simulate real tournament conditions, especially Storm Surge, while keeping matches shorter and more competitive. Core Features: Rank Requirement: Access is limited based on rank to ensure high-quality lobbies: Week 1: Platinum III+ Month 1: Elite+ Month 2+: Unreal only Early Game (No Fighting Phase): 100 players spawn as normal First 5 minutes: no damage between players (looting and resource gathering only) This prevents early griefing and allows players to properly prepare and plan their strategy Combat Phase: After the timer ends, PvP is enabled Players have around 2 minutes before Storm Surge activates Storm Surge System: Activates automatically after the early combat phase Functions similar to official tournament settings (or slightly adjusted for balance) Match Duration: Slightly shorter than standard BR (~17–18 minutes) to keep it efficient and replayable Goal of the Mode: Provide a realistic tournament environment for competitive players Reduce randomness and early-game disruption Help players improve mid-game decision making, surge management, and stacked lobby experience I truly believe this mode would be highly appreciated by competitive players and could help bridge the gap between Ranked and official tournaments.
