@maritediflores: The art of ✨regulation✨ without restriction Because what I’ve noticed about “naturally lean/thin” eating isn’t really about food at all, it’s about state When the nervous system is regulated, hunger and fullness actually become readable again. When it’s not, everything turns into speed, impulse, and override So instead of trying to “eat intuitively” in a chaotic state, I’ve started with something simpler: I regulate first Before I eat, I slow down. I take a few deep breaths. I come back into my body instead of staying in my head And then I eat like I’m actually present for it: • I chew slower (like 10–20 bites per mouthful) • I set my fork down between bites • I stop eating when I feel satisfied, not when the plate is gone or my mind is rushing me forward • I ask myself, “would eating another bite feel good in my body?” It sounds small, but it changes everything Because you don’t really need more discipline or willpower with food; you need more capacity to stay in your body while you eat And that’s what makes eating feel “effortless” for people who seem naturally lean: not perfection, but regulation If you need support to in your fitness journey (whether macro tracking or trying to lose weight without the apps) I offer 1:1 nutrition coaching & training services (Seattle • Online) #nutritiontips #intuitiveeating #fitnessjourney #sustainableweightloss #foodfreedomjourney
