Last year, I was in that same position. I left everything behind in the Philippines—my career, my friends, and the life I was used to. When I arrived here, it really felt like I was starting from zero. Little by little, things began to fall into place. I found a job, made a few friends, and slowly adjusted to life here. During my first 1–5 months in Dubai, I cried almost every night because I wanted to go home. I was incredibly lucky to have my partner with me. He became my support system, even though I know he was going through the same homesickness. He just chose not to show it and stayed strong for both of us. Now, I’ve been in Dubai for a year, and little by little, my life has progressed. So hang in there and keep praying. Things may not get better overnight, but with time, patience, and faith ❤️
