see. I don't understand why it's so hard for them to accept the fact that it's their responsibility as a parent to raise their own children. Not compare what they've been through than us, not to say that I really only need them for money when all the money I've ever borrowed from them was for school and school supplies because they never let me out the house with friends so I don't have anywhere to spend that money on. They seem to think that because I'm their daughter, because I'm their child I have the responsibility of growing up perfect to find a better work than them and to start being the bread winner for them. All my life the only "praise" I've heard of them was "grow up smart, have a good job so when the time comes you can buy us our house, our car, even our own land". When I was a kid I thought yeah, I want my parents to have the best life because of what they've sacrificed for me but as time passes, as I grew, they suddenly started being more controlling, I can't be tired after school because I don't have a job to be tired about. I can't ever choose my own school because they did that before and they fucked up so even the college I want to go to got turned down. I wasn't even allowed to find a job unless it's work from home. that's what they've been doing. the only reason I haven't left the house is I'm still underage and even then in my country no matter how old a person is, they'll still force you to be with your family unless you contact an attorney to stop parents to ever be near within their child. (anyways, I'm just coping, no need to read everything)

my mom always say "i sacrifice alot to give birth to you. its either me or you died back then" i mean then why dont you use protection to prevent getting pregnant with me? like hello, if i know, i wouldn't agree to be born either. having me is entirely her choice and now she's saying that she regret having me, like im in the wrong to be born here😐

When my husband worked hard and wanted to change to a better car after using the same one for years, his mum said why can't he buy a car for his dad instead. Then she said she raised him but somehow someone else (me the wife) gets to enjoy things. Haha... We are no contact now.

The sacrifice came because the responsibility was taken seriously. Being reminded that a person gave their all for you just means that you aren’t appreciative enough of what was given to you.
