Cybersecurity experts have shown that ordinary-looking cables can give a hacker full remote access to your device. Bring your own charger and plug into a wall outlet. 7. Never ignore software updates. Updates patch security vulnerabilities. Every day you delay is a day hackers can exploit what has already been fixed. 8. Never save passwords in your Notes app. (Unless you have it biometrically locked down) Your Notes app is not encrypted. If someone gets into your phone, they get everything.
