@parrot_stars: On this #WorldParrotDay, I am incredibly grateful for the countless individuals, organizations, researchers, conservationists, breeders, veterinarians, and parrot owners who dedicate their time and energy to protecting parrots both near and far. I am especially thankful for our community, which continues to prioritize the mental and physical well-being of the birds in their care. Every person who chooses to learn more, provide better enrichment, improve nutrition, support positive training, or advocate for responsible parrot ownership is helping create a brighter future for these remarkable animals. My hope is to continue growing a culture of education surrounding captive parrot care while also increasing awareness of the urgent need for parrot conservation in the wild.
