Omfg I have never seen a fandom be so media illiterate. Steven and Connie promised that they would always fight together. Steven broke that promise and gave himself up to homeworld without thinking twice. That’s why Connie was upset. Also Connie didn’t steal lion. Lion was ALSO MAD AT STEVEN FOR LEAVING. HE CHOSE TO GO WITH CONNIE.

Connie’s feelings were valid but her actions weren’t, a simple message to Steven saying she wanted/needs time to herself is quite literally ALL she needed to do. She’s lucky this is a show because ignoring your friend after they practically gave their life to save you, going to space, and barley making it back just for her to go “I thought about texting you how I didn’t want to talk but then I realized texting you meant talking”.. if I was Steven I would’ve NEVER talk to her again 😭

The hate towards Connie is so unjustified. She was still like 13 years old here. Y'all think a 13 year old is gonna be capable of properly assessing, processing, and communicating all of their complex emotions in a mature and healthy manner? No. That's an unrealistic expectation and she shouldn't get hate for that, especially since they DID work things out in the end.
