@dmitribuilds: How to Electrical Drawings: One Line Diagram. Sparky, let me know what I missed! #electrician #projectmanager #jobsite #constructionmanagement #construction
There is a variety of ways engineers show one line diagrams. The idea is the same though, just wanted to point this out.

you dont "pick 2". you need to bond them all.
also ufer doesn't need to be 20' if the rebar is 20'

One correction, not all one-lines start at the bottom. Most that I’ve seen start at the top. To me it makes more sense visually because you’re going down the oneline for all the “downstream” equipment.

I do a lot of water Wastewater projects and bid even more, I've seen so many drawings in my area tgst I can tell who the electrical engineer is that Drew it within about the first 10 seconds of opening one-line diagram or details.

Very interesting to see a building SLD like this. I do mostly industrial and ours definitely look a little different. for one we always start at the top and work down. we also never "let you choose" grounding. also crazy to see so much aluminum. We are basically always copper over here, and could never get away with a table like that. but we got so much mixed derates that you can't really summarize it. we also have such varried SLDs, and can if we choose, put a LOT of details on them.

I am relativity new. Have a question. Is that first cabinet with the meter is that also a disconnect? I notice you don’t say disconnect until talking about the aps.

also, not sure why we keep referring to conduit as "pipe" there no pipes in the electrical code book.
