Be careful: Years in Utah proved to me that Mormon culture is deeply cult-like. Driven by the belief that theirs is God's "Only True & Living Church," their "chosen people" complex has infected every level of government. This creates a "don't ask, don't tell" culture that shields polygamy, welfare abuse, corruption, illegal activities, questionable finances, protected lineage & True Prophets like Warren Jeffs. At its core, this doctrine promises them a vastly superior eternal status over all outsiders.
