@austin_statesman: Heavy rains have separated hundreds of young animals from their mothers, sending them to a Georgetown rehabilitation center. Since the rains began in May, the most rescued species at All Things Wild were 60 eastern cottontail rabbits, 36 opossums, 19 white-tailed deer fawns, 18 raccoons and 17 house sparrows.
