@taytrace: Tips — 1. Doing more rhythmic bilateral movement - there’s incredible research behind how beneficial this is. Walking, gardening, Qigong, knitting, painting, swimming, butterfly tapping, swaying back and forth. So many different things you could easily add into your weekly (ideally daily) routine. 2. Practicing diaphragmatic breathing. Your breath is something you will always have no matter where you are and has such power over the state of your nervous system. The more you practice, the more skillful you become, the more you can control it. And whenever you’re anxious, angry, fearful, sad, etc. you can use your breath to help how your body responds. 3. Pick up a hobby before you pick up your phone. When you want to scroll, do your hobby first. That way you spend less time on social media and more time supporting your nervous system. Reading a book, learning a new hobby, making a recipe from scratch, going for a bike ride. 4. Have a glimmer that is able to bring you back. When you are feeling heightened, stressed, spiraling in thoughts. Have a moment that grounds you. A glimmer is opposite of a trigger. It is a moment where you felt happy, peaceful, relaxed. Think of where you were, what you were around, who you were with, how you felt. I create a glimmer bank - where I store all my memories that I can bring back when needed. If you want to hear more on this, I can create a video specifically for this because this has been insanely helpful for my journey. Hope these help, sending love 🤍 #nervoussystem #HealingJourney #healthtips

You can't out-hustle a body that feels like it's in danger. Take all the time you need to reset. Nature always has the answers.

Devils Chick :
I've got a question. I've seen many say out the screen away, but what if my hobby has always been playing computer games with my friends? I don't really have any other hobbies, cause it's my online friends, and I feel incredibly lonely if I have to be in my apartment or outside all alone

Bi-Tapp :
For those times when you need regulation in the moment and you are unable to go for a walk (high pressure situation, for example), Bi-Tapp does the bilateral tapping for you. Passive regulation in the background.

It’s so weird to think that a lot of my anxiety is coming from me not breathing right. You don’t even realize it actually. I do a weird thing where if I get that zapped feeling (iykyk) or if I feel a heart palpitations, I shimmy my shoulders or my hips. It’s so weird but it works. Does anyone else do that?

🎶My life through music🎶 :
This hits hard, time is a healer. It may not feel like it and I'm still.not there yet but I continue fighting everyday. I have had days were I almost didn't have a tommorow but after years of battles I've come to realise we are stronger than we know and we can get through anything. I'm still trying and writing music to try help others now as if I can prevent just one other person from giving up and going through the dark times I went through then to me I have succeeded in life. ❤️
