Also solid/powder foods are weighed not based on volume!!! Just cause there is ‘space in the jar’ doesnt mean you are being ripped off. 500grams is still 500g no matter the size of container

People’s inabilities to understand they’re paying for the amount of product in the container and not how full the container is baffles me. If you pay for a jar with 16oz of something it it, if the jar can hold 18oz or 100oz it doesn’t matter. The product is still 16oz. THAT is what you pay for.

An unintentional benefit is for any of these powdered items, SCOOPING them out becomes much less messy in my experience. If it was flush to the top, you'd only be able to scoop a little out at a time without spilling some and wasting product.
