I'm 29 and have had very minimal pregnancy scares- I wouldn't say it's easy to avoid pregnancy (have to take birth control every day without messing up and use a secondary method sometimes) but it's not brain surgery (which I also can do)

My husband was shocked that I never experienced a pregnancy scare. Didn’t ever even buy one till I was 29. Bought a 2 pack. 1st was negative, few days later hadn’t started my period so retested and it was positive and that was that. Never have bought a test any other time lol
