I feel like for the driving, I think they’re talking about emergency vehicles, like if there’s no cars in front of you moving to the side, and you can’t hear or see lights, how do you know when to move to the side?

nah but the driving one is valid tho. I know she has a hearing aid on but still we don't know how deaf she is so assuming the worst not being able to hear well on the road is dangerous. Not to say she's a bad driver than her hearing aid is probably enough so she can safely drive
